Crisis management and security maintenance

The increased risk of natural disasters (earthquake, hurricane, flood, ...), industrial risks (especially on sensitive sites classified under Directive 96/82/EC), terrorist attacks to which are subjected populations in their daily life or during major events (sport, political ...), requires the development of solutions to help manage such crisis or maintain safety of large events.
Master and information sharing, supporting command and decision making, training of responders and planning interventions are the challenges that chain of command and responders are facing in order to limit risks and their escalation.

Result of significant R&D investments supported by European projects (INDIGO, VASCO, ZONESEC) DIGINEXT has developed a product line called CRIMSON to assist all stakeholders (police, civilian security, policy, industrial policy-makers ...) of the chain of command in the preparation of their mission, in its implementation as well as in the operational preparation (education and training).

CRIMSON suite addresses law enforcement for critical sites and situations:

Operational module:

The ability to carry out the law enforcement or to overcome crisis management is a complex challenge because of the multiplicity of involved organizations, commandment levels, media and information sources.

DIGINEXT proposes a sense making solution supporting operations during law enforcement and crisis management and helping commandment chain and first-responders to make decisions.

In addition, CRIMSON offers unique features to train different levels of the command chain and field crews.

This module of CRIMSON is integrated within comprehensive solutions provided by partners to:

CRIMSON features the following characteristics:

Real-time operating system for situation tracking
Visualize and interact with a 2D/3D COP including filtering and multi-layers functions according to level of commandment (in order to optimize communication required for each level)
Follow in real time and share the situation through a dashboard including log book, key decisions and statistics

The use of CRIMSN enables

Train the commandment chain and the first responders by simulating a crisis situation on the real field or a substitution site
Acquire reflex by practicing thanks to scenarios or recorded situations
Debrief exercises
Improve exercises realism and actors involvement thanks to the integration of first responders and field equipment
Train on an alternative site when the intervention site is not available
Integrate simulated exercises in your real exercises non-intrusively
