IGN, the French National Geographic Institue, has just updated its main site Géoportail with the lastest version of VirtualGeo Web without plugin. VirtualGeo is the solution chosen by IGN for 3D visualization on its Geoportail since 2012, and now IGN has just integrated the brand new pluginless version.
You can now enjoy 3D visualisation of high resolution DEM on all French area, both metropolitan and DOM/TOM, wait for more 3D features to come !
