Traveler’s Information for public transport

DIGINEXT started its activity in Public transport sector with one of the world major network operator (RATP, Paris) and based on its skills and expertise, it has developed a cutting edge product line called MobilitX to become an European leading provider of Multimodal (Tramway, metro, bus, train) and Real-Time Passengers Information Systems with its product line MOBILITX already acquired by major public transport network such as Brussels (STIB), Lille (Keolis), Marseille (RTM) and Paris (RATP).

DIGINEXT is consistently seeking for implementation of disruptive technologies to guarantee its customers more and more efficiency, simplicity and flexibility.

Through its intensive R&D policy, DIGINEXT has been selected by the European Commission as an Associate Member of the European Shift2Rail Joint Undertaking for Rail Research. The Company has been chosen thanks to the cutting-edge concepts it proposes and its acknowledged expertise in both advanced Traveler Information Systems and Mixed Reality Systems.

DIGINEXT will be involved in the “IT Solutions for Attractive Railway Services” Innovation Program and, more specifically, in the area of “Customer Experience Applications”. DIGINEXT’s willing consists on reinventing the traveler experience by providing high-quality, ubiquitous, and personalized information systems and novel forms of user interfaces assisting the traveler from door to door, and shielding her/him from the complexity of the multiple available services. Our vision is to turn any travel into an effective, engaging, and even entertaining experience with in-time ubiquitous information and assistance of the traveler, all along multimodal journeys.

Passenger Information Systems:
  • Multimodal Travel Information System for RATP;
  • Central Information System for Lille Métropole public transport network;
  • Information Hub for the Régie des Transports de Marseille ;
  • Information Hub , Passenger information system and displays for Brussels STIB;
  • Waiting time processing server and displays for line 14 "Meteor" of Paris metro;
  • Maintenance of the Passenger information servers of Paris SIEL RER and SIEL BUS.

Operating support system

Command & Control Systems:

  • Automatic vehicle location servers enabling real-time localization and monitoring, through 3RD and Tetra radio network, of all tramways and buses in Paris. This project is performed for RATP in collaboration with INEO SYSTRANS;
  • The development of telecommunication systems enabling the communication of ground control agents (RER, Metro, and Bus) with mobile agents through the RATP TETRA network;
  • The development of the ground-board communication network for the RATP metro (in partnership with Alstom Transport) and bus (in partnership with Thales) networks.

Design, Learning and Training:

  • Tracks maintenance training system for SNCF;
  • Augmented Reality train documentation system for Alstom Transport;
  • Train station virtual prototyping for SNCF.

Ticketing:

  • Contactless NAVIGO ticketing system : Architecture study contribution and project management assistance (RATP) ;
  • Contribution to RATP Ticketing system: Fare collection, Supervision sub systems;
  • Maintenance of components of the RATP Ticketing system: Fare collection, Supervision sub systems, Transport Pass reloading sub-system.
